 SAID And Colgate's Bright Smiles Bright Futures was at it again on November 12, 2016 at the Native Community Wellness Fair hosted by the Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs Health and Mental Health Committee.  Read more:

Piscataway Nation WOW Event

The inaugural Wellness On Wells (WOW) Mobile Health Clinic Event for the Piscataway Nation was held at the tribe’s Museum and Cultural Center in southern Maryland on August 30, 2016.  SAID's Vice President and Piscataway tribal member, Dr. Winifred J. Booker was instrumental in efforts to ensure the Colgate van became a part of the WOW event.  Read about it here:

Gathering of Nations PowWow

In April 2016, SAID teamed up with the Gathering of Nations Powwow and Colgate to provide dental screenings to children attending this powwow.  SAID members, Dr. Zellisha Quam, Dr. Darlene Sorrell and Dr. Winifred Booker donated their time and expertise to 318 children, which surpassed the goal of 300 screenings.  Read about it here:
